Visiting Artist Colloquium with Mojisola Adebayo

Mojisola Adebayo is a theatre artist and Lecturer at Queen Mary, University of London. Mojisola will introduce what she describes as Afriquia Theatre (black/queer theatre) through a retrospective on her collaborations with Dr. S. Ama Wray and others. She will share extracts and discuss her plays and collaborative performance productions including Muhammad Ali and Me, Moj of the Antarctic: An African Odyssey, and I Stand Corrected. She will also refer to her most recent projects, including The Interrogation of Sandra Bland and STARS.

The Art Department Visiting Artists Colloquium is a series supported by the Anonymous Fund and the Brittingham Trust. VAC lectures are held every Wednesday during the academic year, and are free and open to the public.
