Arun Luthra’s Konnakol Jazz Project Featuring UW-Madison School of Music Faculty

Arun Luthra will be joined by UW–Madison Mead Witter School of Music faculty as part of the annual Conference on South Asia. Luthra will perform konnakol – the Carnatic (South Indian classical music) discipline of vocalizing rhythms. He will be joined by musicians Matt Endres (drum set), Todd Hammes (percussion), Nick Moran (bass) and Johannes Wallmann (piano and lead faculty for the residency).

There is a fee to attend the online conference ($120-260). The concert is free if you attend in person. This concert will also be uploaded to Mead Witter School of Music’s YouTube channel.
